How Can I Replace Ceiling Fan Lamp Shades?

hi. i have a ceiling fan that includes a light fixture. There are actually four light sockets as part of the light fixture. The light sockets currently have opaque fluted glass shades around the light bulbs.

I do not like the fluted glass shades. I would like to replace them, either with more simply shaped glass shades or with fabric lampshades that are appropriately sized for the light fixtures. I think the height would need to be about 6 inches and the small diameter 3 inches and the large diameter about 6 inches.

the current lampshades get screwed onto the lamp base. i have not been able to find replacement shades and i wondered if replacements are not available, how could i make my own.

Any thoughts, ideas, instructions are apprecated.

We would really need a make and model of the fan or perhaps a picture to help you better.
