My walls are sage green and bottom is plaided

The first thing to consider is what are the colors that you are most comfortable with. That said, with the scheme you have chosen look for salmons, brick reds to rust and don't be afraid to throw in a little of the blue family - meaning those blues that have a lot of green in them like teal and turquoise. Depending on the size of the plaid consider using floral pillows or floral window toppers (swags, valances or scarfs) of a similar scale. Just remember to have fun and only use things that you really like!
