Question Copper Wash Tub

I have an old copper wash tub that was handed down from my wife's grandmother. It's in excellent condition for displaying in our home. The problem is, we don't know what to put in the tub for display purposes. It really doesn't look right when it sits empty. We don't want to put liquid in it as it sits on our wood floor. We thought of putting firewood in it, but we got a gas log last year, and don't use wood any more. It is oval-shaped and measures 24" x 13", and 13" deep. Does anyone have any suggestions?

The tub might look useful with bathroom towels and fancy soaps in the bath or guest room.....or fill with pine cones and place by the fire if country setting

How about taking a piece of glass cut to be slightly larger than the tub top itself and using it as a table of sorts. Then you can put artificial plants or seasonal decorations inside the tub as well as putting items on top of the glass to add even more interest??

Get a nice, thick and cushy blanket. Place blanket in tub. Go to animal shelter. Get dog. Place dog in tub.
