Unhappy Supply to alarm panel

Help...Going to install an alarm panel in the hall, question is if i come from a 13 amp socket outlet i will need a fused spur to the panel, but if i came with a 1mm cable from the ceiling rose will i need to put some kind of isolation between the rose and the panel ,or again can i come from the rose with a fused spur... I need some clarification... Are you considering running a 1mm cable directly to a 120v power source?? The alarm panel should wire to a low voltage transformer which would generally plug directly into a wall outlet, but you could probably find a direct wire transformer that could be wired into a junction box (make sure specs match requirments of panel). A low voltage wire would run between the transformer and the panel and needs no fuse.
