Broken Garage Door Opener
Hi,
I open my garage door via a switch inside the house. It's actually a door bell switch. Either it, or the garage door opener is not functioning. Is there any way to open the garage door manually?

This is more of "Doors and Windows Forum" question but, I believe I might know. There should be a safe catch/release on the arm that attaches the door to the drive or on the motor unit itslef (depending on whether it's screw or chain). This release usually is red and sometimes has a string with a knob of some kind hanging from it. Flip this switch/catch/release and the door is disengaged from the drive and it should be able to open manually now. Hope this helps.
