Automated lights

I want to replace the existing LV lighting in the front flowerbeds with small cans in the eaves.

I've found all manner of outlets with timers, but no switches with timers. I'd like to be able to set the lights to turn on and off automatically - or, preferably, add a sensor so they turn on at dusk and off at a given time.

I don't have any home automation stuff set up right now - no X10 or anything like that.

What's the best way to go about this?

Try one of these: http://www.intermatic.com/?action=subcat&sid=112
They aren't the only brand on the market, but they were a brand that I knew the name of to search.

For the light sensor function, it's simple to wire a light sensor in at the start of the after the timer/switch to make that function work.
