Motion Detector

We have moved into a new home. We have carriage lights on the outside of the garage and front door.

The lights are controlled by three switches. Is there a way to connect a motion detector to the lights.

Actually you can buy flood light motion sensors and other motion sensors here:

They are easy to install and work good. I have to installed in my backyard and i am very happy with how they work.

you can also install the insteon, or X10 type switches and put their motion detectors in the AC line where ever you'd like, with programming to turn on the floodlights that you 'd like.. www.smarthome.com I use their motion detectors like trip wires to light different floodlights.. these do not have to be installed on the floodlight circuit, that gives you some room to play with the coverage area..
