TV Antenna

Hello , Have a question about TV Ant. , Iam in Florida , so its pretty flat land , Is there a rule of thumb as to the min an max of the height of the Ant .I searched a few sites on here seems there use to be a Antenna Board but its no longer available., I see where its best to run reg cable (RG-6) , or what ever its called. Instead of the ole flat 2 wire, makes sense .

Whats the deal with putting an Amp,booster in line I read where it was suggested to use a 10-20db Amp., this will be a basic Antenna , will not be motor controlled, Any thing else I should Know ? Whats the average price of an Amp. ?

Can I run several TV'S off this or just one ? Also what about a Stereo, or is it just asking too much of the Antenna , An should stick with one TV ?, Thanks in Advance for any assistance on this .......

Nowadays, any antenna you get would be for UHF only, as that is where the broadacters have their digital broadcasts. I wouldn't invest in a VHF system.
