chamberlain liftmaster professional

Figured I would post on here since this is a home electrical automation device.

Well what I am looking for is a value for a resistor on the control board of a Chamberlain Liftmaster Professional Line Model: 1260LM. The number on the board is 14LG399-1B. The number of the resistor position on the board is "R33" of which is located right behind the main plug for the board next to the white wire that is soldered into the board that is for the light. I would greatly appreciate if someone has this model if they could take a look at the board and tell me. The transformer blew on the pole at the house and it fried this resistor and a couple of traces on the board. Any help would be great. Thanks.

Replace the board. That blown resistor could be the tip of the iceberg in lightning damage.

So how much does it cost to replace the resistor? Maybe .30 cent? A dollar? So if I do board repair for a living then this wont be hard and very inexpensive IF it works. The .30 cent try sounds good to me. But no I do understand what you are saying but would like to try it.

The thing is, the resistor might be the beginning of the problem. There could be other components damaged by the lightning hit.
