using X10 and my pool/spa lights won't turn on

Hi all,
We use an X10 system to power our pool lights, outdoor lights, pool heater and spa jets. Everything works except the pool/spa lights. I don't think it is the bulbs because both lights stopped working at the same time. Is there anyway to troubleshoot why our pool/spa lights are not working??

Thanks!

Are you using plug-in modules or do you have an X-10 receptacle for your lights?

If you are using the plug-in module simply swap with a module that you know works. Change the coding as necessary with the test module so it has the same coce as the suspected module.

If you have an X-10 receptacle then try plugging a test light into the receptacle and see what happens. Also try running a temporary extension cord from a GFCI protected receptacle to the pool lights and see if they work. DO NOT LEAVE THE EXTENSION CORD IN PLACE AFTER THE TEST!

After these tests you will know where the problem is.
