Wireless smart switch and outlet?

Does anyone know if something exist?

I want to control an outlet that I have a light plugged into from the wall next to the door when you walk in. There is no wiring for where I would want the switch.

I have found they make a self powered switch and also a battery.

My little issue with this is I have to go back to the switch to turn it off. It would be very convenient if I could use my iPhone or tell Alexa to turn it off.

it doesn’t have to be an outlet could be just a light bulb as well if exist.

You can get a smart outlet, a smart plug in adapter or a wifi smart bulb. I have played with a few. I also have a hue system with smart bulbs. The hue works well with alexa. The rest I use the smart things app.

To give you ideas. The outlet did not work for my needs.

I have been using these with great results. Just plug them in and connect to your WIFI.
You can group them to turn all on/off at the same time if you have more than one light.
They can also be turned on/off with the button on the outlet.
They also have switches, but they require changing out the old switch.
While I don't use Alexa, I use the smart phone app to turn on/off lights when I get home and when I go to bed.

thanks for the replies guys. the main thing im trying to avoid is not having to run a power line from the switch to the outlet so i was hoping i could find something wireless so i can push the switch while i walk in, which is usually way quicker then telling alexa and turn it off with alexa or my phone.

more and more i think about it, i think it will be easiest to just run the wire
