Question

Does anyone have a suggestion for me?
I am building a gameroom in the basement and building display shelves. I am considering lighting the shelves with 'hockey pucks' or rope lights.
Any suggestions?
I'm trying to determine my building plans to hide wires, etc.
Thanks!

Buy (or borrow) samples of each and give them a try.

Whenever I see a display of rope lights (HD, lighting stores) invariably, one or two are burned out. This leads me to believe these things aren't worth it. You can't replace just one bulb, either.

There is a track light for mounting under cabinets. Minilights click into the track just like the ones you would put on a ceiling. I have seen them (in a house) but I can't seem to find a manufacturer or supplier.
