Can an air conditioner be put on a timer?
This LG window mount air conditioner doesn't seem to work on its timer mode, so I was wondering if I can get it to run on a timer like this:

It's directly above my bed, so I need it to turn off at bedtime, and turn on at around 8am when the outside starts to heat up. If so, what do I look for in a suitable timer?

You linked to the picture..... not its specs.
We can only guess if it can handle the load of the A/C.
Many electronic A/C's won't start automatically when plugged in..... does yours ?
If it does... a timer can control it.
If not.... a timer could turn it off but not back on.
FYI... the timers in most A/C's is to turn the A/C off after xx amount of hours.
Not usually back on.
