Hello friends,

I wish to wire my home for networking, telcom and cable,
I have 2 spools of cat5e cable 500 ft each for networking and telcom and 500ft of quad shield rj6 for cable(the qaud shield was suggested by the cable company) i have from home dept a thing from leviton saying they have a whole house wireing ""BOX"" where everything comes in and out of is this something i should use I mean the top of the line on looks to be a litte too much with the ablity to have 3 phone lines and all. I wish to use an 8 port switch with this box I'm going to start fishing wires soon and will have the cable comapny come to make the connections to bring everything in they just will not fish wires. any one have any hint's on this.

Hope your walls are open - it'll make this process a lot easier.

If you're looking to pull two Cat5s and one RG6 to each location, then I'd suggest pulling them at the same time.
