rewiring my home

I am about to begin rewiring my home. new service panel, meter, wiring and outlets. (home built in 1940).
I was wanting to find a book(s) that give good examples/ideas on this subject. I have the 2001 NEC book it is very helpful but I am looking for something a little more user friendly. Do not worry I have a licensed electrician doing all of the code steps. I really enjoy working on my home and want to learn as much as I can and make the right decisions/choices and options available for my home. I am planning on installing 200 amp service.

All replys are greatly appreciated.

Thank you,
Carl

Cool

If you haven't already, post your question over in the Electrical forum.
There are a number of excellent electrical experts there, and they can help you (two have even created a website on the very subject).
And there are scads of user-friendly books out there on residential electrical. Have you checked www.amazon.com ?
Good Luck!
Mike
