sonykp-61hs10 video 5 not displaying

I'm hoping someone can find a quick fix to this...

When I use tv/video to cycle through the video channel choices (video 1, 2, 3, etc) video 5 gets skipped. There is a menu where you can chose a label for the video input. I have tried the label with 'video 5', 'dtv', 'dvd', it is NOT set to 'skip' so I should be able to see it.

I had it set to 'skip' for a while but am now in the process of hooking up an HD receiver and can't seem to access Video 5 anymore.

Is there a way to set the TV back to factory default? I had a repair guy over a year and a half ago to fix another problem, and he was able to bring the tv into some sort of diagnostics with the remote control, but I have no idea how he did it.

any help is appreciated.

mikied, The easiest way to do this is to send you to this website.

It will explain hows and whats of the diagnostic function.

Click on sony, then click on self diagnostic.

Thumbs up Service reset procedure

With the TV off press "display" "5" "volume +" then power it up.
You should get a service menu, at that point press "8" then "enter"
It will cycle off for a few secs then go back to the way it was out of the box, you will loose all custom settings you have done.
You might have to unplug the TV first before you can get teh service mode to work.
DO NOT mess with anything else in the service mode !!!
