rainbow tv

While trying to install an additional speaker into our television, something went wrong....now the color of the tv is like a rainbow....anything we can do to fix it???

magnet in speaker caused trouble set needs degaussed and tv has one built into it but it is small and only operates the first few seconds that the tv is turned on cold this means turn set off and let it cool for several hours each time before turning back on

have a RCA 52" P52720LV chassis is PTK169PK....set belongs to sister bought new in 1996 set was playing with no problems left room for about 30mins returned to find no picture only sound and you can hear the stations change when you turn channels. I checked set and found no problem with the HOT or the regulator set has high voltage with about 30k volts has no raster at all I have never dealt with type of problem I did check the trippler and found it to be good....What do you think?

shut off on own,27 sony

my 27 inch sony ,about 5 years old shuts off on its own after a min or so. sometimes it has continued to play for hours, when shut down happens i have no pic or sound and the little red light at bottom blinks red ...any ideas, was told it is the picture tube ,is this possible.
