Sony 32" TV screen streched/zoomed-in from top and bottom

I have a Sony 32" TV which is about 10 years old. Recently, the picture on the screen was streched out / zoom-in from the top and bottom, but okay from the middle. So, to give you an example, if the screen was suppose to display a square, it would look like an hour-glass on my TV. In the top and bottom areas of the screen, the picture gets chopped off from the screen. I can't completely read the menus, or volume controls, they get chopped off from the sides.

The TV sits on its stand, and has my dish network DVR reciever, dvd, and vcr underneath the TV. The TV has no horizontal or verticle controls, no deguass button, no zoom functionality.

Can someone please help me. Thank you.

my guess is the yoke has been moved inward towards the pic tube. the yoke is windings of metal, check the yoke by pushing or pulling it with the set off.
if it is loose it must be pushed or pulled with the set on, be careful, there is high vultage in the area. the source voltage may not be regulateing as it should be, also. good luck, snuffs
