tv problems
I have a 25inch tv that you turn it on it plays good than after a minute it
turns off an won't come back on till the next day. any help.

PS problem?
maybe you have a power supply problem.
check relays if there are any.
and if you have a temporary heat fuse, check that the component that it is attached to isnt overheating.
also make sure you dont have a sleep time programed, as some tvs can be programed to turn off after a certain time past power on.

I agree with Terahertz. It could be that temporary heat fuse and If you where to take a ziplock bag of ice and towel and place it on or near the overheating component then you could isolate the problem. Moving the bag and towel around the board can also help you identify if you have a cold solder joint. Once you find the area where it could be inspect the underside of the board for solder joints that have come loose.

Remote
Do any of the other buttons on the remote work? If not, you may need new batteries in the remote or it may just be shot. If other buttons do work, the on/off button has gotten dirty or is just plain worn out. The simplest solution is to just go buy a cheap universal remote and see how it works.

infer red problems
I have a sears 13" color tv the remote is fine new batteries, the problem is
you have to turn the tv power botton on an off to get the remote to work?
and then it works you go through the channels an stop on one channel then
try to goto another and the remote wont work? any help?.
