Heres my setup, I have my main entertainment center on the first floor and have 4 BRs upstairs. Ocassionally, I would like to watch cable channels upstairs that require a cable box to receive. I was wondering if it is possible to split the coax signal right before the main TV and feed a video modulator. The modulator would then be connected to the cable leg upstairs. I would run this on RG6 cable. Is there any problems with signal quality with this type of setup? My cable modem also resides on the upstairs cable leg, would the modulator reak havoc with it? What brand of equipment would you recommend?

When I come home at night and turn my TV set on it takes more than an hour for the picture to come on and yet I can get sound straight away. Does anyone have any ideas why this is happening and/or how I can fix it??
