I have a Magnavox 5.1+reciever home theater system. As I am setting it up I find that I have 2 standard yellow "rca" cables, and one coaxial cable with male connectors on both ends that are identical to the rca connections. (The only reason I recognized it as coaxial is that "coaxial" is printed on the side) My question is which cable do I use to connect the Sub-Out on the reciever to the subwoofer? This seems like a relatively simple question, but I called Magnavox and they "weren't sure". If the answer is to use the rca cables, my next question would be: how much of a difference will the thickness of the cable make for my subwoofer? The yellow rca cables are flimsy loooking and I don't even know if they are long enough yet. Thank you for any suggestions or advice you can offer.

This Sony Trinitron is about 6 yeard old, great picture & sound... problem is: When you first turn it on, the picture jumps around then goes out unless you smack it on the side or the back... After doing that for about 15 minutes it will stay on and work for hours or even days as long as you leave it on. What could be the problem? Seems like bad contact or something. Thanks.
