splitting Bev signal

Can you split a bell sat signal off the lnb using a a high frequency splitter that will pass voltage on all ports?

You can't split a single lnb for 2 receivers. You need a dual lnb and special device called a mulitswitch.

yea, so im new to the entire tv teching. where does the chroma peak originate at normaly? god iv checked everything. if i had a working tv i could check my self. but i dont.. so im pretty much unsure. bla bla bla.

Strange problem with a 27" Mitsubishi at least 10 years old. Good picture and sound, even while the following happens: Randomly, and regardless of the length of time the set's been on, it will produce a loud crackling sound almost like a gun firing! The set is used in meetings and once cleared a room of 30 when it started behaving like this. As I have said: NO problems with picture or sound before, during, or after these holdups. regards, Jack
