ceiling speakers

I just bought a brand new house. It's already built and too late to ask the builder to do any upgrades.

Is it easy to install ceiling speakers, or is it even possible for a house that is already built? From my understanding installing such on the upper level should be easy because of the direct access to the attic. What's is the best and easiest way to install ceiling speakers in the main level?

Thanks.

The hard part is running the wires. Depending on access and the direction of the ceiling joists, you may have a few holes or many holes to cut in the ceiling. Each hole will need to be patched.
