WOW...I am really impressed by your great help for all these people. You really are good at this. I can just feel all the testosterone. I feel like doing a tool time "grunt" OOOGH OOOGH....
Let's see while I am here, let me think and see if I have a question that deals with this subject...hummmm
The only problem I have is that I lost my sharp TV's original remote...now I can't get into the set up mode. EVEN with an expensive store bought replacement...comments?

Not a problem! Stop by Walmart or Radio Shack and pick up a universal remote control. You have to spend a minute putting in the codes using their instruction manual for a guide. After that, it will work like your old remote control.
The only problem with the universal, though, is that you can't access the menues for special settings. For that, you need the Sharp version. I'd suggest you hit their website at http://www.sharp-usa.com/
and talk to their customer service folks. If you have the model number and serial number of the set, they can usually come up with a replacement remote control for their equipment at a decent price.
Flattery will get you everywhere, Southern Lady!
