Zenith Big Screen Picture Problems

I have a Zenith Big Screen. Model # PVY6067DT. The television powers on just fine. The sound is perfect. However, the picture is almost totally blank (dark grey) with 3 Lines across the upper 1/3 portion of the screen. The lines are in the order of Red > Green > Blue. Each having just a single (1) line. Also they are not straight across the screen in a perfect line, but are cuved in nature as if being pulled towards the middle of the screen. Any suggestions on the problems? Also anybody know any television repairmen in oklahoma city/norman area? Any ideas on estimated cost of such a problem? Thanks and keep up the great work.

Small resistor might be bad

A few penny's part (resistor) is causing your problem and unfortunatly it is located way inside the tv that is difficult to access and repair.
Do not be surprised to pay over $300.00 or more to get this fixed by a service shop as they will replace the entire module in the TV which is what I would do as other components are or will go bad in short order.
You could do it yourself if you replaced the 9-1674 board in the set but not knowing how to adjust the tv after replacement of the board you might need a service call anyway just to do that.
Open up the TV by taking the back off. Make sure it is upplugged.
After seeing the "guts" inside you probably will want a professional to help you out.
