MP3 or Ipod
My son would like me to purchase him an Ipod, I'm
told they have a non-replacable lithium battery, seems
like a draw back to me? What about an MP3 instead.
I know really nothing about either, can someone give
me some insight on either? Which way to go?

It really comes down to which, if any, music service he will subscibe to.
iPods work only with iTunes, some other MP3 players work with some of the other services that use wma.

I honestly enjoy my 30G Dell Digital Jukebox. It also has a non-replaceable battery in it that charges by putting the unit in a docking station or hooking it up to cable... Kind of like chargeing a cell phone.
Now for a little help with your terminology.
An Ipod is an MP3 Player, as is the Dell mentioned above. An MP3 is what they play.
Not being rude or anything, I just want to save you any problems or embarassment from the sales people at the store you go to. Most of those guys will try to take advantage of you if they think you don't know much about these kind of things.
If you want to know anything or need any advise with this just ask me, I'd be more then happy to help.
