sattelite dish problem

Here is the problem, I moved the dish to a different part of the roof a couple weeks ago. When I moved it, it accidentally fell of the roof and hit the ground. Didn't appear to be any damage. So I dialed it in and had a 91 signal strength on all transponders for a few weeks. then it went out a couple days ago and I had no signal so I went back up and a screw loosened up so I tightened it back down. Everything was fine for two days then all of a sudden it went out again. went back up and now I can't get any signal. Is there any way to check the LNB at the end to make sure it isn't bad. I have a feeling that dropping it wasn't good for it. Are these dishes usually that sensitive to movement. I noticed that moving the dish a mere 1/4" would knock the signal out. Not sure if there is anyway to test the LNB at the end to make sure it is working properly. Any other reccdomendations on how to find a signal would be great. Thanks

Of course, droppin' the dish could have possibly bent something.
Anyway, take your LNB to a local retailer and have him check it with a meter.

(first rule of thumb for a dish: make sure the post is perfectly plumb)

Start by checking all the cable connection and make sure none of them are damaged. Other than that maybe the dealer could test it. Or you take it to someone who has a working dish and remove his lnb and put your's up without moving the dish as a test.
