Need surround sound headphone advice

Hello. I'm interested in getting some surround sound headphones to use with my play-through-TV only DVD players. How do these hook up to TV-only DVD players? An optical plug? RCA plugs? Do you need a special amp? Are there any that can be hooked up to TV-only DVD players or are they just for computers? Do they have to be three speakers per ear type headphones to have a good surrround effect or do two speaker surround sound headphones do good? Any advice will be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

You can have wireless headphones on anything. The headphones will come with a receiver base unit that connects to the audio receiver or DVD player through the RCA connections. It doesn't matter if the headphones have the 3 speakers in them or just one that has the right technology. It's all how the sound hits the ear.

I would recommend getting some Amphony wireless headphones. They have great ratings, but they do run about a $100.
