Speakers

I Have A Pair Of Advent Wireless Speakers That Call For 17v Ac Adapters But They Came With 15v Adapters. The Transmitter Calls For A 12v Adapter But It Also Came With A 15v Adapter. Can These 15v Be Used Without Damaging The Equipment????

I would call the manufacturer or store and ask just to be sure they didn't send the wrong adapters. I'm sure it's ok, but it's better to be safe.

If these are indeed AC to AC adapters (just transformers, actually) and not AC to DC adapters, it's unlikely that you will run into any problems. The AC will be converted (AND regulated) internally to an appropriate DC voltage for these speakers, and the difference on the AC side isn't all that much. Was probably a matter of the manufacturer running into a goodly supply of "close enough" Chinese wall warts dirt cheap. "We" do it all the time!
