Wireless Speakers
Hi, I'm looking at making a set of diy wireless speakers, and I had a question concerning the wireless issue: what would be the best way to get the speakers wireless? Thanks.

Cool DIY project.
Each speaker needs a receiver and a power amplifier. Any small battery-powered FM radio will work fine as long as it has an earpiece jack. You can make a power amp out of parts (search for audio amplifier schematics) or buy them already made. Don't expect a whole lot of power if you're running it on batteries.
The kicker is the transmitter. The speaker will play any radio station within range, but if you want to play your iPod through them you'll need a short-range MP3 FM transmitter. They are available, usually sold for use in cars that don't have aux inputs for the MP3 player.
