I live in an area that has somewhat heavy snow. My satellite dish gets covered with snow and my reception is interrupted. Any suggestions as to ways to deal with this?

There are also satellite dish covers that pass the signal but prevent snow from accumulating on the reflective surface of the dish. They're around $20.
My neighbor uses Pam (the spray cooking oil) and swears by it. I see him on the roof when there's snow in the forecast. Here in Buffalo, NY we get some snow
but I'm fortunate in that my dish is protected from prevailing winds by a large tree.
