Finally broke piggy bank and decided to get HDTV and accessories
Today I purchased the Samsung 22'' 720p LCD TV. It's model # LN22A450. It's all I could afford. I have a couple questions about accessories.
I am using this TV for watching basic cable TV (not HD), DVD movies, and maybe to connect to an older PC. Can I get away with the cheapest HDMI cable, or should I buy a more expensive brand?
I have not picked out an upconverting DVD player yet. But the brand name OPPO keeps getting high ratings. How come I have not seen OPPO in the stores?

With a 22" set you won't need a hdmi cable.You wouldn't notice the difference over just using the a/v connections.
