Correct Cable Wire to Use

What is the correct wire for cable in my house, RG-6 RG-56, 59?

I'm remodeling the basement and want TV connectors at various spots.

Thanks

RG6 coax will be fine, and it's the most readily available. It will work for satellite too, if you ever decide to switch.

You might also want to pull Cat5 or Cat6 while you're at it. All the new TVs have IP spigots.
