Panasonic Plasma bass rumble buzzing problem
I have owned the TH-50PZ700u for about 14 months now and it has been great up to last month when the audio began producing a buzzing or rumbling whenever punchy type bass signals are processed. This is VERY annoying. Something has changed and needs to be fixed.
Anyone else experienced this with their Panasonic plasmas? If so, I would sure like to know what the cause is and how to fix it. Maybe - replace speaker or possibly secure the speaker better?
I sent email to Panasonic regarding a fix for this problem bus so far have heard nothing back.
Any ideas would be welcom.
Thanx.

Negative. About quarter bar volume typcially. TV has been fine up til this started. Something's changed and needs to be fixed. Have seen other references to same problem w/panasonic plasma on internet but no fixes suggested thus far that I can find. Panasonic will not respond to me via email reg. this issue.

I sugest you take the set to ,or call an autherized service center to come out and check it.At 14 months old it will be covered by your extended warranty.
If several people are reporting the same problem, then panasonic will have issued a service bulliten to thier servicers.

Thanx for the suggestion.
I am attempting to avoid a service call repair charge by doing it myself, if possible - thus my post here. I have no extended warrantee (per consumer reports recommendation). Also, the extended warrantee was NOT cheap if I recall.

Ok,I just was on the panasonic website. They list 2 sources for your problem: 1: Bass level is set to high 2: Upgrade the tv software. This you cannot do yourself.
I recomend calling an authorized service center and explaining the problem.Being only 2 months out of warranty they may still fix the problem for free.

Thanx again for the respond.
Can you please provide a link to that info on the Panasonic website?
Also, I would think that if it is a software issue, the problem would have been apparent since day one(?)

Website is for service centers ONLY.Speakers in a tv set are designed for normal speaking volume only.( in flat screens )If people want more bass or louder volume levels, they need to use an audio system.
Flat screen tvs are to be used as part of an a/v system. They are nothing like the rear projection sets that came with larger speakers and 20 watt plus built in amps.
