same problem as line?

I have a 3 year old,25 in samsung tv,that until today was like new,then all of a sudden i lost half the screen,the bottom still looks good but its cut almost perfectly in half,horizontaly.I saw your response about line across tv,do i have same thing? and if so what kind of trouble and money we lookin at? thanks

Yah, the problem is still in the Vertical Circuit and is called Vertical Fold-Over. This is caused by a capacitor failure in the vertical oscillator circuit which causes the picture to refresh as a higher rate.
