Red face

I have a 37 inch Panasonic. Shortly after buying it the push buttons on the front of it fell into the iside of the TV so alll you could turn it on and off with was the remote. A couple of weeks ago my nephew stuck a wire clothes hanger in the hole where the power button was and it made a little noise and the screen went blank. Now I get no picture and the only sound I get is a buzzing from the back of the set. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Can I fix this myself or should I take it to a shop and how do I know if the price for the repair is fair? Please Help.....

Thumbs up

Hi, Rogle:
I can't give you an honest answer to this question because I do not know why the panel fell to the inside of the set nor do I know what electrical malfunctions were caused by the coat hanger. Since I can not see the set nor perform any diagnostic checks, my advice is to take it to someone that can do these checks. And, don't poke any more hangers into the electronics. Tsk Tsk Tsk!
