lcd tv one line on screen

lcd tv one line on screen

i have an astar lcd 40 inch tv just replaced the power supply but still have one thin horizontal line on the lower third of the screen . which board would cause this and componenent if known ..i suspect its a connection or cold solder of some kind but not sure..any help would be appreciated..thx

How wide is the line and what color if any?

thin line

Looks like one pixel horizontally blue in color right across the screen

I could not find much info on this set. Most lcd tvs have a main circuit board that processes both the picture and sound. Then an x & y board that control the pixels . I would try the x board first. It would be connected to the edge of the display. If you post a pic of the boards in the set ,I could point it out to you.

Is the rest of the screen dark?
If so, it used to be a vertical colapse.
Try u-tube search on the issue/how to, there is a lot there these days.
