In-Wall Volume control

Hello

I have an in wall volume control by the back door (kids and remotes dont go well.

The backplate has cracked. Ive looked all over for a replacement and failed....I mean I can get a replacement but not that size....its square, about 4x4....not teh standard outlet size.....Photo below....Anyone any idea where I can get a replacement without having to do some spackling and re-sizing?

Go to any place that sells electrical supplies..... even Lowes and Home Depot.
You want a two gang white blank plate. Buy it in metal or unbreakable nylon.
Drill your own 3/8" or 1/2" hole in the center

Thanks

I think I missed an important bit of info ...I want to replace the whole thing, with one the same size to avoid messing with patching up the wall

It looks like a single-gang device with a 2-gang plate as PJ suggested.

There are a number of replacement possibilities. Can you take photos of the back of it, possibly providing manufacturer info?
