Forrest Gump DVD

I have a copy of the DVD 'Forrest Gump' and as I watch it I cannot do so without
hearing commentary from the producer, director, and production designer. They speak throughout the entire movie about how and why they made certain scenes. There is practically never a time when I can watch the movie without hearing some sort of comment. It is very annoying and I don't know how to do away with it. When you first turn on the DVD the screen gives the option of 'Play' or 'Audio Commentary' but no matter which is clicked the commentary continues. Can anyone help me with that? Thanks.

Is it bootleg? Have you tried it in a different DVD player or your computer?

If this is on a standard consumer brand DVD player, the remote should have a button labeled "Audio".. While the DVD is playing, press it to advance to the next audio track - which should be the standard 5.1 audio.
