Optoma ES520 lamp problem
Dear All,
We are a group of VolunTeachers and 2 or 3 times a week do VolunTeaching
in a nearby village. We have above subject projector as on today not working.I wish to know whether its lamp be tested/checked outside of projector? or
how to check the availability of power at the socket of the lamp?
Thanks in advance.

Welcome to the forums.
That projector uses a metal halide mercury vapor type discharge lamp. It cannot be checked for operation other than checking to make sure the interior capsule isn't broken. Since it's a discharge type lamp the voltage is too high to measure. The only way to diagnose a problem is to replace old lamp with new.
If you look at the manual I left below.... it tells you how to read the diagnostic LED's built into the projector for the lamp.
