Hmm...Sony STR-d450z, no audio from right side

Hey all - I switched speakers and still only the left puts out audio. Strangely also only audio from the left from the "b" speakers. I only found one fuse inside and it's ok - any ideas?

Many, many thanks, all!

That unit has at least five amplifier sections in it. I'm assuming that you are only testing the front channels. There are two rear channels and a center channel amp. The last three would probably only be active when in a surround mode.

Those amps are not protected by any fuses. Each ones uses discrete parts which more than likely means you have had one amp fail.... the right front.

Shouldn't be too hard to fix if you have electronics background. If not... it may need to be taken in for service.

PJmax, as always, your responses are absolutely helpful. I think discretion is the better part of valor and I will take it to a local shop! All I needed to know. Thanks again!
