My RCA 52" projection TV just stopped producing sound. THe picture is fine and the TV was on when the sound stopped. Now all I hear is "clicking" when I change channels or turn volume control up or down. What can I do? This isn't an easy tv to bring in for repair. The TV is approx. one year old.

There is repair places that do on-site work, however for that service it may cost more than taking it to them. I agree it would be a real pain to transport.

I assume that you are using the tv's internal speakers. I don't think this will help but unplug the tv for about 5 minutes and them plug it make in, you have nothing lose by doing that, but I suspect a problem in the sound circuits, and unless you have experience in reading schematics and experience in this field you may be stuck having a professional look at.

Smokey or Bigmike may have something to add to this one, as I know their backgrounds and they may have specific knowledge on this.
