LG 22" TV - 1080p Resolution or Not?

I need a small TV and LG Electronics 22LB4510 is the model I was about to
order from Amazon.

Most of us look for that 1080p number when shopping for a TV. All the
info from the manufacturer lists 1080p, while many retailers list 1080p
and 720p for the same model.

The LG spec sheet I downloaded says, "Full HD 1080p Resolution."

Go to this Amazon listing and scroll down to the LG comparison chart:

Amazon.com: LG Electronics 22LB4510 22-Inch 1080p 60Hz LED TV: Electronics

Along with many other retailers, it lists the resolution for LB4510 as
720p.

Before my head explodes, is the screen resolution for this 22" TV 1080p
or 720p?

If your signal is not digital, then the resolution will default to 720. If you have a digital HD receiver box from the cable company, then the resolution is 1080. Sometimes the HD channel is listed as 48.1 and the regular channel is listed as 48. Call your cable provider for specific direction on your cable coming into your house.
