Pioneer Elite VSX 21

Hi All, I want to use my I phone with this receiver, what is the best input to use?I have used the CD input in the past but for some reason now it's not working this method works with my Kenwood.

In what capacity are you using the phone..... to share music electronically ? To play music from the phone ?
I know that receiver has a USB port for an Iphone connection.
The CD input should be good for basic line level needs.

I would think Lightning to USB would be the best connection.

Just for music,I have used CD before input before and it worked but now for some reason it's not.

Possibly a bad cable.

You have two audio input options.... CD and CD-R/TAPE(in)

I tested the cable,that is the port I am using,I wonder if there maybe some internal circuit protection that had opened,there are 2 fuses inside and they tested OK, no sound what ever no matter what combo i use,I may wait and see if I can find a CD player to us and see what happens with it.
