Toshiba LCD has developed vertical multi colored bars

My 52" Toshiba Regza 52RV535U LCD has developed vertical multi colored bars around the middle of the screen. I followed various YouTube instructions like cleaning ribbon cable connectors at the T-con board but the bars are still there. According to the YouTube posts, the next step is replacing the T-con board. Has ayone else on the forum solved a similar problem by replacing the T-con board?

Welcome to the forums.
It could certainly be the T-con board. A repair center would swap the board to determine if that was the problem. You will have to buy it to try it.
I've seen a lot of unhappy people with the same set as yours. It looks like many people have a set with a defective LCD module. Your problem is not exactly the same as most.
