OK to place wiring in conduit?

Hi all. I am building a 12' x 20' jam room and wanted to know about whether I can us pvc conduit to carry the wires......16 ga. speaker wires, ethernet wire, A/V cable for TV and regular wired land line phone. I would like to place it in conduit, but not sure if that is good or not. If I can place it in conduit, which type? The white or gray? What schedule type? and can these types all be placed in one conduit together? No power lines in conduits and the romex is already in place for outlets and switches. Oh, and this is just for running it indoors as I know I need the correct schedule 40 conduit to go underground from my house. So is 40 good indoors or should it be schedule 80 in the walls?

Thank you,
Carl

White is plumbing pipe not conduit. You need to use conduit. Schedule 40 is fine. However you might want to consider ENT (Smurf) flexible conduit. All wire used must be at least class 2 intended for use inside walls. A lot isn't. Of course the big question is why in conduit. No requirement to do so.

Hi and thank you for your assistance. I just felt it would be simpler when wanting to either swap out wire or run additional rather than trying to find and fish through holes in the wall. It was just an idea from a guy who always tries to build a better mousetrap sort of....LOL. I do thank you for clearing that up also.

Nothing wrong with conduit if you may eventually swap out the wires. Use low voltage rings at your terminal points.
