Missing back piece for 42" JVC Flatscreen TV

42" JVC Flatscreen TV
Model # - LT-42P789

Does anyone know where I can get the back cover for the power supply board so I can plug this TV up?

This is the power supply board:

Do you mean the entire back plastic cover ?
Or just the power cord that connects to that board ?

This is a pic I got off the web. My TV has the plastic back cover but not the cover for the power supply board. Without the cover I won't be able to plug it up.

If 120 VAC have you considered soldering a line cord on the pins and just cutting a piece of plastic to cover the board. (Of course the last time I worked on TVs they had vacuum tubes and the cord was basically the same as what was used on many electric shavers.)

The power cord has a plug on it that connects to the power supply board. I can't see any cover affecting that plug in process. Power cord is #7.

I see. I was thinking that I needed the cover in order to connect the cord but if it's not needed I can cover it up with something else instead. I can easily order a power cord for this model TV from eBay. Thanks, guys!

QMPD750-185-JD is the OEM power cord part number.

The only cover that is listed is the power cord cover (#20). It looks like it keeps the power cord attached to the big plastic cover so that it's not ripped from the power supply board.
Basically a cord restraint.

All the online places I checked with show the power cord on back order.
Didn't see any on eBay.
