LG 50LN5100 TV: no menu has static sound

So I just successfully swapped out one of the LEDs in the back of my tv. But now I can't get the menu to come up and I get a static sound. The LEDs work just fine though....

I know it's something I have done but I just can't find anything wrong.

Sat here feeling stupid, looking for any help available.

First thing that comes to mind is that you left a plug out.

Is what you are calling static coming out of the speakers or out of the power supply board ?

I took the back of again and everything looks ok, the static is coming from the speakers.

I changed the title to reflect the proper model number.

Nothing comes to mind. It would appear the main board is not processing but I couldn't tell you why.

I'm guessing the power LED is not blinking any codes ?

The service manual would be very handy but I couldn't find it for free online. You can purchase one at the link below.
