desktop preamp maybe?

I have a nice set of harmon/kardon desktop speakers with a sub and they sound great but only have the one 3.5 mm input. Id like to connect my computer, tv and Alexa to them so the first thing I tried was using a 3 way 3.5 mm splitter. I even got gold coated connectors and the audio quality was complete crap. I think sending the signal through the splitter was making it to weak for the speakers to register. so is there a better idea here or maybe a desktop powered pre amp I can connect them all to with a single output? or is it time to go buy a 2.1 soundbar?

Not really a preamp..... a mixer. You need a way to combine the audio signals without connecting them directly to each other.

There are many available. The link just give you the idea. It would be nice to find one using 3.5mm stereo jacks. Rolls-MX42-Stereo-Mini-Mixer/dp/B00102ZN40
