Smart TV connections.

So, a while back I got a Samsung Smart UHDTV (UN55U6290FXZA). Really like how she can "cast" her phone screen to it...but haven't figured out how to do it with anything but her phone...which is also a Samsung. Would love to be able to use my Fire tablets, but apparently the Android OS on them is not full featured.

Also, though I thought this thing had WiFi/Bluetooth...I can't for the life of me figure out how to use either my headphones or a keyboard/mouse combo with it. It's connected to the internet and works well for streaming stuff. It has a browser built in which works well also, but using the remote to navigate is a Royal PITA. I really don't want to use a corded setup, since thats...well, old school and ugly. Maybe just a regular cordless combo pack with a Bluetooth adapter?

It has USB and HDMI ports galore (as well as the typical optical/digital/stereo outputs)....but I'm not sure what kind of dongle I should try to be able to get sound to either headphones or cordless speakers/soundbar.

The manual is so generic (lots of "Not available on all models in all countries" disclaimers) that right when I think I've figured it out, it turns out not to be an option.

Any suggestions?

Just make sure it has all the bells and whistles you think it has. Mine would be easy, IF I only had Samsung speakers, a Samsung phone, Samsung headphones, Samsung everything. But who has that? All one brand?

The TV seems to take USB keyboard / mouse, one option might be to use one of the wireless MS keyboard-mouse combos that use a plug-in USB dongle.

As for Bluetooth there is a manual for a similar model -

Connecting a Bluetooth keyboard and gamepad
Settings >System > Input Device Manager > Add Bluetooth Keyboard & Gamepad

If your device was not detected, position the keyboard close to the TV, and then select
Refres. . The TV scans for available devices again.
